DERMAL FILLERS

Juvederm Ultra is a non-surgical dermal filler consisting of gels made of hyaluronic acid (HA) with added anaesthetic for the most comfortable treatment experience possible It helps to add volume and hydration into your skin, instantly lifting out those troublesome facial lines leaving a smooth and natural look.

Your skin’s natural moisture-retaining hyaluronic acid/ collagen inevitably declines with age. Your skin is constantly under attack, sun, wind, pollution,smoking, fatigue all combine to wear away at its structure. This moisture/ volume loss creates lines around your lips and nose and reduces fullness around your cheek, lips hence giving us an older, more tired look.

Dermal fillers are used in the following areas:

All Juvederm products are non-permanent and will naturally break down. And we are able to offer you a local anaesthetic to reduce the pain for only £25 too.

You will obtain instant result and last 6-18 months depending where the dermal filler has been injected and type of filler used. The Juvederm fillers consist of specially formulated type of hyaluric acid that exists naturally in your skin.

Following the injection, you may experience:

• Redness

• Slight swelling

• Slight bruising

• Temporary discolouration at the area that has been treated

However, you are able to reduce the likeliness of the above and also make the treatment more comfortable with the use of a local anaesthetic at a cost of only £25. As a GMC registered surgeon, Ajay is able to offer this to all our patients.

Avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs a couple of days before treatments. This will reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the point of the injection.

Following you dermal filler treatment you must: –

• Avoid alcohol 24 hrs following treatment, particularly following lip enhancement

• Avoid strenuous exercise

• Avoid sun/heat exposures
